Vicar and Minister at Christchurch
Marc Baker
Marc is responsible for overall leadership of the church family and our congregations.
Marc became a Christian as a teenager when he became convinced about the significance of the death of Jesus.
Marc is married to Sheryl and they have three children: Jack, Henry and Ethan.
Marc is committed to local church leadership having previously led churches in Liverpool and Cheltenham. Marc enjoys nothing more than having friends round for food, a good pint or watching West Ham lose again.
Minister for St Kea, Youth and families
Hugh Barne
Hugh is married to Grace and they have two lively sons, Isaac and Joshua. They moved to Cornwall from Reading in July 2021.
It wasn't until his teenage years that Hugh realised who Jesus claimed to be, and how compelling those claims were.
Hugh trained and worked as a Landscape Architect before moving across to full time Christian ministry.
As a family they enjoy the outdoors, live music and reading books.
Minister for St John’s and Associate Minister
Will Harwood
Will became a Christian at university after meeting friends whose lives were changed by Jesus, and then worked as a secondary Science teacher for 14 years. Born in Penzance, he has lived in Cornwall, Devon and Gloucestershire.
Will joined St Kea as curate after finishing ordination training at Wycliffe Hall. He was ordained in Truro Cathedral in 2019 and appointed to St John’s in 2022.
Will is married to Naomi and they have three children: Silas, Phoebe and Chloe.
Will is passionate about Biblical languages, music and keeping active (but not the Cornish hills...!)
Church Office Manager
Vicki cooper
Vicki is Church Office Manager. She is responsible for helping us deliver on the plans which God has laid out for us in the vision and works with all areas of our church.
Her background is in education having been a primary school teacher, and manager of a charity Preschool in Berkshire.
Vicki, her husband Simon and two children Thea and Jago moved to Cornwall in Nov 2020, to the house that her husband grew up in! Vicki grew up in a Christian family, was an active member of her church in Berkshire and joined Kea Truro in December 2020.
Christians Against Poverty Manager
Natalie Gavan
Natalie is responsible for leading Christians Against Poverty in Truro, especially helping people with debt and addiction and unemployment.
Natalie started to attend St Kea in 1996 and became a Christian a couple of years later after realising she was forgiven and experiencing God’s love grace and mercy. Natalie is a national speaker and advocate for the work of Christians Against Poverty and Regional Evangelist for the South West.
Natalie is married to Matt and they have two teenage children.
Youth Worker
Lisa O’Kane
Lisa, our part-time youth worker, she arrived in Cornwall in 2021. She is passionate about sharing Jesus with the next generation and empowering young people to discover their God-given purposes.
In her spare time, she is typically found growing vegetables, enjoying coastal walks & hanging out at local farmers' markets with her daughter Emma.

Church Administrator
Debs Stanhope
Debs is our Church Administrator. She is responsible for the general day to day running of the Church Office.
Debs moved to Cornwall in 2009 and is married to Tim. They have two children: Henry and Nell.
When she is not working in the office you will also find Debs leading worship at Christ Church in Truro.
She also enjoys meeting up with friends for a cuppa and a yummy piece of cake!
