Creation Care

Good stewardship of creation is part of our Christian response to God’s love. We have registered with the Diocese of Truro’s Creation Care Network and we support the diocese’s Creation Care vision and strategy, which has three priorities: Cherish Creation, Cut Carbon and Speak Up.

Kernow Green Church Award

In December 2021 we completed an initial environmental audit/survey and in October 2022 both St Kea (All Hallows) and Old Kea received the Kernow Green Church Award. We will continue seeking to improve our Creation Care in areas including energy, land use, community involvement and lifestyle.

All Hallows St Kea

All Hallows and Old Kea

We are blessed with beautiful grounds both around All Hallows Church and at Old Kea. We try to manage the land in a way that encourages wildlife and biodiversity. We encourage you to explore the grounds and enjoy the peace and tranquillity they offer.

Eco Church

In November 2022 St Kea was awarded a Bronze Eco Church award by the Christian conservation charity, A Rocha UK. If you would like ideas on lifestyle changes you can make at home, you can find some useful resources on the Eco Church website.

Get Involved!

If you want to be involved with this at St Kea or have ideas for things we can do better, please contact one of our ‘Creation Care Champions’ by emailing the church office.
