This Sunday at St Kea - Wisdom’s Call

Each of us are making decisions all day, every day and in each of those decisions wisdom and folly call out to us. As we move into chapter nine of Proverbs this week we’ll seek to be equipped to walk ‘the way of wisdom’.

This Sunday we will be sharing the Lord’s Supper together. Coffee will be served before and after the service and Sunday Clubs will run as usual. A reminder that prayer ministry is available after the service. Please do consider staying for our Eat Together Sunday lunch. No need to sign up, we’ll have plenty of soup and bread and something for dessert.

This Saturday 4th February, 8:30-10am - Trinity Women’s Breakfast

There is still time to sign up for the first Women’s Breakfast of 2023. All dietary requirements can be catered for, please make a note on the sign up form. At these breakfasts we’ll see Jesus through the eyes of the first women who met him, hear from women in our congregations about their experiences of meeting Jesus, and have plenty of time to chat and meet others. Saturday 11th March

The plan is for our Away Day to be held at Truro School (for the morning sessions and fellowship) followed by afternoon activities elsewhere. We are also delighted that Joel Knight, a church minister in Wokingham, will be travelling down to speak to us. Once we have confirmed costs we will be ready to take bookings.

Bringing evangelicals in the Diocese together

A reminder of this event on the 25th February which we hope will be a very encouraging evening. There will be an informal time of fellowship, pudding, sung worship, prayer, the appointment of the TDEF committee and a keynote address from the Rev'd John Dunnett.

Weekly Prayer Points

This week’s prayer points:

1. Give thanks for the church family at Kenwyn and for the ways in which they serve their local community. Pray that they continue to grow in their love for Jesus and service of him.

2. Please pray for our mission partners the Wallace Family. Richard gives thanks for an encouraging trip to El Salvador, and has just yesterday arrived back from a trip to Ethiopia where he was training church leaders in Addis Ababa and Hawassa. Later in February he will be travelling to Cuba to carry out more training.

3. Please pray for the launch of the Truro Diocesan Evangelical Fellowship, for good attendance and the strengthening of gospel partnership.
