Palm Sunday

Join us this Sunday as we enter into the Easter week we will be looking at Marks account of Jesus last few days before his death. Jesus said “Wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.” We will be looking together at why what this woman did was so extraordinary, and how we might respond to Jesus in a similar way.

Small Groups - This week

This week we come to the end of our small group series looking at 1 Peter - Life on the Margins. Throughout this series we have been reflecting on the ‘low level’ opposition we can face in our own country as we seek to follow Jesus and engage with communities all around. However, throughout this whole series we have also been aware that many Christian brothers and sisters face much more significant suffering for their faith across the world. Last Sunday we were exploring this, hearing from the organisation Open Doors. This week in our small group session we consider the situation facing the persecuted church and we will be praying together for them.

After this week, Small Groups take a pause for the Easter Break. Our APCM will then take place on the 30th April (see below) and the first Small Group session of the Summer Term will be on the week beginning 5th May.

Easter 2025

Join us next week as we celebrate Easter at Christ Church with our ‘All Age’ services.

On Thursday 17th April we will join together with St Kea Church for a Maundy Thursday event which includes a meal, worship and communion (see below to book your place).

On Good Friday (18th April) and Easter Sunday (20th April) our all age services start at 9.30am. These will be held at our new location in River Street.

Our Easter celebrations are great to invite friends and family to: we’d love to see you all there.

Meal & Praise Evening

Please join us at 7pm at St Kea Church for a wonderful time of Praise and Worship. The evening will begin with sharing a meal together followed by a time of praise. We will then have a moment of reflection and take communion together. Click on the button below to book your free place.

APCM - 30th April

Please join us for our APCM on Wednesday 30th April at St Kea Church. The evening will start from 7pm for refreshments with our meeting starting at 7.30pm.

Church Camp 2025 - Book Today!

We had such a fun time at our Church Camp last year that we are doing it all again this year! We have booked Tehidy Campsite once again from Friday 6th June until Sunday 8th June (Our Sunday service will also be held at the camp that week).

If you would like to come along to this wonderful weekend you can book your place for camping below. This year there is an option for an early bird ticket until 31st March at the cost of £25 per family, so don’t relay - book today!!

Sign Up Today!

Don’t forget to sign up for Trinity Away day on Saturday 10th May. It will be an exciting day of teaching, great worship and fun activities for all. We are going to be joined by Tim Ling who leads an exciting ministry in Padstow and will be our guest speaker for the morning. There will also be groups for children and youth.

The day will be held at The Stithian’s Centre in Stithians and will run from 9.30am- 3.30pm with a pasty lunch. In the afternoon there will be different activities to choose from which will cater for all needs. The centre is fully accessible, but do get in touch with the office if you have any questions about this.

Ticket prices are £8.50 per adult and £5.50 per child

If you would like to be involved on the day: welcoming; serving refreshments; making cakes; children’s work etc.. there will be a sign up sheet at church over the next few weeks.

Weekly Prayer Points

Each week there will be a few things for our church life and church family that we can join in praying for:

1. Dear Lord, as we celebrate Palm Sunday this coming week, we come before You with a heart full of gratitude and reverence. Help us reflect on the significance of this day, when Jesus entered Jerusalem as a humble King. May we remember His sacrifice and the love that led Him to the cross. Fill our heart with humility and gratitude as we walk through this Holy Week.

2. We pray for our mission partners at Mercy Rescue Trust. We praise and thank You for all the babies they care for, although filled with challenges, we pray they continue to have hope for a brighter future.

3. As Dockyard settles into their new space in River Street, we pray for their community kitchen which meets every Monday. We pray for all the people that attend this and for all the volunteers who serve there. We pray this space gives more opportunities for this work to grow.
