St Kea Church

How sweet the sound

This week in our all-age service we will be looking at how we are saved by grace through faith. Paul encourages the Philippians to be ‘blameless and pure children of God’ as they work out their salvation and God works his salvation in them.

The service will be for all ages and include some interactive activities, and one of our young people will be renewing her baptismal vows. There will be refreshments served at both the beginning and the end of the service.

During the summer there will not be a weekly livestream. As an alternative, you can click on the link below which will take you to the St Ebbe’s church livestream which we hope you find useful.

 ALTERNATIVE LIVESTREAM OPTION

Old Kea service - Evening Prayer

Please join us this Sunday afternoon. Malcolm Henderson will be leading the service and exploring Jesus' words to his disciples, "Unless you become like little children".

Everyone is welcome to the service and to enjoy the beautiful, peaceful setting of Old Kea.

All welcome

The funeral and burial will be held at St Kea Church on Monday 19th August at 2pm.

Jonathan and his family would love to welcome those of you who can attend, and they have asked for people to come dressed smartly but in any colour. There will be refreshments at the end of the service.

Weekly prayer points

Each week there are a few things for our church life and church family that we can join in praying for:

1. Thank you Lord for your grace and mercy. We are grateful for the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Please help us to grow in relationship with you and lead others to know your saving grace.

2. Father God, we pray for the continuing work of Mercy Rescue Trust and for Jedidah and her team. We particularly pray for Jedidah as she travels to Switzerland this week with her daughter Una to meet supporters of Mercy Rescue and share with them the work happening in Kenya. We ask for increased provision for them as they deal with expensive hospital fees for some of their children.

3. Thank you for St John’s Church and for their leader Will Harwood. We pray for any holidaymakers who may attend St John’s over the holidays, and for Chris Parsons leading whilst Will is on holiday.
