All Age - This Sunday

Please join us this Sunday for our all age Palm Sunday Service - Jesus comes as God’s king, the Messiah. Psalm 2 shows us what God’s king looks like – He is on the throne and nothing in the world can stand against Him. Even though so much in the world can seem scary and uncertain, Jesus can be trusted. He’s the king of the universe and He’s asking us to trust Him and build our lives around Him.

Refreshments will be available before and after the service - don’t forget to bring your own reusable cup if you have one.

Trinity Evening - TONIGHT

This week instead of meeting in our small groups for Enable we will be coming together tonight for a Trinity Church evening. There will be opportunities to hear updates from the different Trinity Churches, as well as praying for them. This event will be held at Kenwyn Church from 7pm for refreshments, we’d love to see you all there.

Enable groups will begin again the week beginning 29th April.

Women’s Breakfast - This Saturday

There is still time to book onto this month’s Women’s Breakfast - We would love to see you there.

This Saturday we are focusing on God’s self-existence, what it means for us that God is uncreated and the creator of everything. Do join us as we explore this truth and see how it can transform our walk with Christ

Food/Praise/Reflection Evening

On Maundy Thursday (28th March) we will be joining together with others from Trinity (7pm at St Kea Church) to have a wonderful evening of praise and reflection. The evening will begin with sharing a warm meal together followed by a time of praise as we think about the wonder of the cross. We will then have a moment of reflection and share communion together. If you are looking for a quieter more formal service Trinity is also hosting a service of reflection at Kenwyn Parish Church. Maundy Thursday evening service 7pm.

All Age Service and Optional Walk

On Good Friday we will be meeting at Archbishop Benson School for an all age family service at 9.30am. There will be short all age talk from Marc with songs and prayers. There will also be an amazing Easter Craft for the children to take part in. The service will also include moments of quiet reflection for adults as we think about all that Jesus has done for us. The service will finish with hot cross buns and refreshments.

After the service some from our church family are going for a Good Friday Walk. Everyone and anyone who wants to join in will be very welcome. Transport will be available for all. We will head off after the service and finish before lunch.

Easter Sunday and Egg Hunt

On Sunday 31st March at 9.30am we will meet at Archbishop Benson School where we will be celebrating the glorious resurrection of Jesus. There will be a short talk from Marc and crafts for the children. At the end of the service there will be an Easter Egg Hunt for the the children and young people to take part in as well as refreshments for all. Do join us if you can, and be thinking of friends and family you could invite.

Weekly Prayer Points

Each week there will be a few things for our church life and church family that we can join together in praying for:

1. We ask you to bless our church leaders, and their families. May they receive all the support needed to fulfill your Kingdom purposes, and know joy in that commission. Heal those in their families who are in need of this Lord, through your compassion.

2. This week we pray for the work of Truro Foodbank and all the staff and volunteers who work there. Thank you for the additional fridges and freezers which gives the customers the opportunity to enjoy fresh food. We ask that there is sufficient donations to fill these appliances.

3. We pray for Andy Boorne and the congregation of Kenwyn Church as we prepare to meet there tonight to hear and pray about Trinity Churches.
