Easter at ChristChurch

Please join us for our all age services over Easter and be thinking about friends and family you could invite.

Refreshments will be served both before and after all our gathering. There are plenty of transport options to get you to our new home and parking nearby. For more information about parking and transport, visit our ChristChurch website and click on the map on the front page.

NB: On Friday parking will be restricted to an hour along River Street, so please find alternative parking if you wish to stay for longer.

Tomorrow Evening

The first of our services start tomorrow evening at 7pm at St Kea Church for a wonderful time of Praise and Worship. It will begin with sharing a meal together followed by a time of praise. We will then have a moment of reflection and take communion together. Click on the button below to book your free place.

Good Friday

This Friday join us for our Good Friday all age service at 9.30am at our new location in River Street.

For centuries Christians have celebrated Good Friday. But what is it that makes Good Friday so good? Join with us as we look at Jesus on the cross and allow ourselves to be amazed again at the goodness of God. 

Easter Sunday

“He has risen! He is not here.” 

Christians believe that the most important day in history was when Jesus rose from the dead. Join with us and celebrate that He is alive! 

@ 9.30am at 10 River Street - There will be an Easter treat for the children at the end of the service!

Small Groups

Small Groups take a pause for the Easter Break this week. Our APCM will then take place on the 30th April (see below) and the first Small Group session of the Summer Term will be on the week beginning 5th May.

APCM - 30th April

Please join us for our APCM on Wednesday 30th April at St Kea Church. The evening will start from 7pm for refreshments with our meeting starting at 7.30pm.

Sign Up Today!

Don’t forget to sign up for Trinity Away day on Saturday 10th May. It will be an exciting day of teaching, great worship and fun activities for all. We are going to be joined by Tim Ling who leads an exciting ministry in Padstow and will be our guest speaker for the morning. There will also be groups for children and youth.

The day will be held at The Stithian’s Centre in Stithians and will run from 9.30am- 3.30pm with a pasty lunch. In the afternoon there will be different activities to choose from which will cater for all needs. The centre is fully accessible, but do get in touch with the office if you have any questions about this.

Ticket prices are £8.50 per adult and £5.50 per child

If you would like to be involved on the day: welcoming; serving refreshments; making cakes; children’s work etc.. there will be a sign up sheet at church over the next few weeks.

Weekly Prayer Points

Each week there will be a few things for our church life and church family that we can join in praying for:

1. Lord Jesus, we stand in awe of Your great victory. On the cross, You took our sins, and on the third day, You rose again, just as You promised (Matthew 28:6). Death could not hold You, and because of that, we have hope! We praise You for the power of the resurrection, which gives us strength each day. May we never take Your sacrifice for granted. We rejoice in Your glorious triumph.

2. We thank you for our mission partners ‘The Wallace Family’ Richard asks us to pray for their services over Easter at Datchet Baptist Church and for guests to attend and for the gospel to be proclaimed clearly. He praises God for his smooth travels to the Havana region to carry out phase 3 and 4 of the Divine Expedition. Praise God for many stories of transformed lives. Pray for them to have wisdom about future trainings and the best ways to travel to QBA in Cuba. Click here to read more about what the Wallace’s have been doing.

3. This week we pray for all the different Easter services that are happening across Truro in the Trinity Churches. We pray for those visiting and those who regularly attend hear your message a fresh this Easter.
