Armour Of GodThis Sunday, Christ Church will hold its Sunday morning gathering as part of the camping trip. The service at St. Kea will continue as usual. In both locations, we will explore what it means to put on the armour of God. Talk of armour may seem aggressive and militaristic. Why do we need armour? Is there truly great danger? Are we under any threat? Cornwall, especially this time of year, appears idyllic with its (occasional) sunshine and open waters—not a war zone! Why the dramatic imagery? This Sunday, we’ll delve into the reality of the threat. We’ll discover that the struggle we face isn’t merely human; it’s against spiritual forces and a scheming devil. However, we’ll also see that God has fully equipped us to stand firm. How does this play out in our everyday lives? How can we practically put on the armour? This week, let’s listen to the God of heaven and earth as He equips us. Whether you’re meeting in the open air or at Kea church, let’s pray for one another, asking that God’s Word would be at work. Groups for children and young people continue, refreshments are available before and after the service, and prayer ministry will be available. Regrettably no livestream will be provided this Sunday due to a gap in the rota. We recommend tuning in to St Ebbe’s instead, for their 10am service, using the button below:
