All Age - This Sunday

Join us this Sunday for our all-age Palm Sunday service - Jesus comes as God’s King, the Messiah, but what kind of Messiah were the Israelites expecting and what kind of King is Jesus? We will be looking at Luke 19:28-40, ‘If they keep quiet, the stones along the road would burst into cheers’.

Refreshments will be served before and after the service and the livestream will begin at 10.20am.

For our Good Friday service next week we will be serving hot cross buns after the service. If you are able to donate a pack of hot cross buns please bring them this Sunday and leave in the refreshment area. Thank you.

Following on from Gospel Partnership Sunday, which fell on St Patrick’s Day, you may be encouraged to read about his life as an evangelist through whom God chose to work very powerfully.

Trinity Evening - TONIGHT

This week instead of meeting in our small groups for Enable we will be coming together tonight for a Trinity Church evening. There will be opportunities to hear updates from the different Trinity Churches, as well as praying for them. This event will be held at Kenwyn Church from 7pm for refreshments, we’d love to see you all there.

Enable groups will begin again the week beginning 29th April.

Women’s Breakfast - This Saturday

There is still time to book onto this weekend’s Women’s Breakfast - we would love to see you there.

Along with a delicious breakfast, and a relaxed time together, this Saturday we are focusing on what it means for us that God is uncreated and the creator of everything. Do join us as we explore this truth and see how it can transform our walk with Christ

Food/Praise/Reflection Evening

On Maundy Thursday (28th March) we will be joining together with others from Trinity (7pm at St Kea Church) to have a wonderful evening of praise and reflection. The evening will begin with sharing a warm meal together followed by a time of praise as we think about the wonder of the cross. We will then have a moment of reflection and share communion together. Please sign up by Tuesday 26th March using the button below to let us know you are coming so we know how many people to cater for.

If you are looking for a quieter more formal service Trinity is also hosting a service of reflection at Kenwyn Parish Church. Maundy Thursday evening service 7pm.

All Age and Reflective Service

On Good Friday (29th March) at 10.30am there will be an all age family service. There will be refreshments served at at the end, including hot cross buns. If you would like to donate any hot cross buns for this service, please bring them to church on Sunday 24th March and leave in the refreshments area. Thank you.

On Good Friday afternoon Alison Brown will be leading us in a reflective service at 2pm at St Kea Church.

Easter Sunday and Easter Egg Hunt

On Sunday 31st March Easter morning begins with a service at Old Kea Church starting at 8.30am.

This will be followed by our all age Easter service at St Kea Church at 10.30am where we will be celebrating the glorious resurrection of Jesus. There will be refreshments served before and after the service and an Easter Egg Hunt for the the children and young people to take part in. Do be thinking of friends and family you can invite to this service.

Weekly Prayer Points

Each week there will be a few things for our church life and church family that we can join in praying for:

1. Sovereign Lord of the harvest, we know that you care deeply for Cornwall and see the great spiritual need. We pray that you would strengthen and sustain churches to witness faithfully and may every part of Cornwall be reached by this gospel witness. Please help us to give ourselves to gospel partnership.

2. Father God, we pray for the work of Truro Foodbank and all the staff and volunteers who work there. Thank you for the additional fridges and freezers which gives the customers the opportunity to enjoy fresh food. We ask that that there is sufficient donations to fill these appliances.

3. Gracious Saviour, we pray for Andy Boorne and the congregation of Kenwyn Church as we prepare to meet there tonight to hear and pray about Trinity Churches.
