Palm Sunday

Join us this Sunday as we enter into the Easter week. We will be looking at Mark’s account of Jesus last few days before his death. Jesus said “Wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.” We will be looking together at why what this woman did was so extraordinary, and how we might respond to Jesus in a similar way.

This will be an All Age service. Refreshments are served both before and after our gathering. A livestream will be broadcast and prayer ministry will be available after the service.

HOT CROSS BUNS - At our Easter services this year we would love to offer hot cross buns to our congregation and visitors. If you would like to donate a pack of hot cross buns please bring them along to the service this Sunday and leave at the refreshment table the back. Thank you.

Sign the petition

Last Sunday we were hearing from the organisation Open Doors. It was great that so many were keen to sign the petition. For any who didn’t manage to:

Small Group

For any groups meeting this week, in our small group session we consider the situation facing the persecuted church and we will be praying for them.

After this week, Small Groups take a pause for the Easter Break. Our APCM will then take place on the 30th April (see below) and the first Small Group session of the Summer Term will be on the week beginning 5th May.

Easter 2025

Join us for our All Age morning services this Easter, and for reflective afternoon and evening events. It all begins on Sunday 13th April for our Palm Sunday service.

On Thursday 17th April join us for a Maundy Thursday meal and sung worship, with an opportunity to share the Lord’s Supper together. (see below to book your place)

On Good Friday, 18th April, there will be an all age service at 10.30am followed by a reflective service at 2pm.

Easter Sunday celebrations will be held on the 20th April and this will start at 10.30am.

Old Kea Church will also be opening its doors again after renovation work for an Easter Sunday morning service at 8.30am.

Do be thinking about friends and family you could invite to these services.

Meal & Praise Evening

Please join us at 7pm at St Kea Church for a wonderful time of Praise and Worship. The evening will begin with sharing a meal together followed by a time of praise. We will then have a moment of reflection and take communion together. Click on the button below to book your free place.

Old Kea

Old Kea Church be holding a Service of Celebration on Sunday 27th April at 3.30pm - a simple service with songs of praise, a short history of Old Kea and of course tea and cakes afterwards. We would love people to come and celebrate with us: you would be very welcome!

Afternoon tea, refreshments and conversation

We are meeting in St Kea Church Hall from 2-4 p.m.

APCM - 30th April

Please join us for our APCM on Wednesday 30th April. The evening will start from 7pm for refreshments with our meeting starting at 7.30pm.

Mercy Rescue Concert

On Friday 9th May at 7.30pm, the singing group, Amici Voci will perform at St Kea to raise vital funds for our mission partners Mercy Rescue Trust in Kitale.

On the evening we will hear about the work happening at Mercy Rescue and donations towards our gospel partners will be taken on the night. Do join us if you can for this special evening.

Away Day - 10th May - Book Today!

Don’t forget to sign up for Trinity Away day on Saturday 10th May. It will be an exciting day of teaching, great worship and fun activities for all. We are going to be joined by Tim Ling who leads an exciting ministry in Padstow and will be our guest speaker for the morning. There will also be groups for children and youth.

The day will be held at The Stithian’s Centre in Stithians and will run from 9.30am- 3.30pm with a pasty lunch. In the afternoon there will be different activities to choose from which will cater for all needs. The centre is fully accessible, but do get in touch with the office if you have any questions about this.

Ticket prices will be £8.50 per adult and £5.50 per child

If you would like to be involved on the day: welcoming; serving refreshments; making cakes; children’s work etc.. there will be a sign up sheet at church over the next few weeks.

Weekly Prayer Points

Each week there will be a few things for our church life and church family that we can join in praying for:

1. Dear Lord, as we celebrate Palm Sunday this coming week, we come before You with a heart full of gratitude and reverence. Help us reflect on the significance of this day, when Jesus entered Jerusalem as a humble King. May we remember His sacrifice and the love that led Him to the cross. Fill our heart with humility and gratitude as we walk through this Holy Week.

2. We pray for our mission partners at Mercy Rescue Trust. We praise and thank You for all the babies they care for, although filled with challenges, we pray they continue to have hope for a brighter future.

3. As Dockyard settles into their new space in River Street, we pray for their community kitchen which meets every Monday. We pray for all the people that attend this and for all the volunteers who serve there. We pray this space gives more opportunities for this work to grow.
