This Sunday Never Ashamed Continues

The church only exists because of the faithful men and women who have gone before us, who passed the gospel on to their children, who passed it on to their children, who passed it on to us. Think back on those faithful church leaders or youth group leaders or small group leaders who laboured in love to teach the gospel to you. What an amazing blessing those people have been in our lives.

This week, as we continue Never Ashamed, we are thinking about the part we play in passing the gospel on to the next generation. It does require devotion and single-mindedness and it might well involve suffering. Certainly that is true for many of our brothers and sisters across the world in the persecuted church. So join us this week as we are moved to be a church of people who pass the gospel on.

Our Sunday Clubs will be running as normal, with Creche for children under 5, and Sunday club groups for Reception to yr 7.

The sermon at Truro is recorded and made available on our website later should you wish to catch up on previous weeks.

Refreshments are being served before and after our Sunday morning service, so do join us and catch up with friends old and new. Prayer after the service will be available.

Tonight - Trinity Evening 7:30pm All Hallows

Tonight, 21st September, we are holding our evening focusing on the launch of the New Benefice. It will be an important evening, a chance to come and find out what this new Benefice is all about. There will be an opportunity to ask questions as we explore together how God is leading us.

As part of this gathering there will be a short time of worship and time for us to pray for the future. Refreshments are served from 7pm (coffee and cake) before the meeting starts at 7.30pm. We will also be welcoming any members from the other churches who would like to join us. We look forward to spending this time together.

EQUIP Continues Next Week

This week there are no small groups to allow everyone to join the prayer and fellowship evening for Trinity Church.

Equip is a year’s undertaking for us in the Christ Church congregation. We will be coming back to God’s word and learning afresh His priorities for His world, His church and each one of us. Week by week we will build up a picture of our unique life goal. Equip will then help us take that goal and see how we can begin to make it a reality.

If you’d like to find out more about small groups or joining get in touch using the link below.

Weekly Prayer Points

Each week there will be a few things for our church life and family that we can join together in praying for:

1. Please pray for the new Benefice of Trinity Church, Truro. Pray that all the churches will work together, supporting each other as they reach out with the message of the Gospel.

2. Give thanks for St Clement Church and the faithful service of Rev Di Willoughby.

3. Pray for Food Bank Truro. As the financial crisis continues, Food Banks across the country will have an increase demand for their services. Pray that resources will continue to be donated abundantly by those that can afford it.

Don't forget you can find information about our church events on the ChurchSuite calendar.
