New Series - Words of Life

This Sunday we begin a three-part series called ‘Words of Life’. Together, we’ll explore different parts of the Bible as we ask: what place should the Bible have in our life as a church?

In a world of exciting visuals, endless scrolling, and bite-sized content, does the Bible’s seemingly ancient, word-based way of speaking still connect? And in a culture where Christians are often mocked for “taking the Bible literally,” is it still wise—or even possible—to take it so seriously?

Refreshments will be served both before and after all our gathering. Children’s groups will resume again. There are plenty of transport options to get you to our new home and parking nearby. For more information about parking and transport, visit our ChristChurch website and click on the map on the front page.

APCM - 30th April

Please come along to our APCM next Wednesday (30th April) at St Kea Church. If you haven’t been to one before, there will be information shared about what has been happening in our church over the last year along with prayers and music. The evening will start from 7pm for refreshments with our meeting starting at 7.30pm.

Engage notes for small groups will resume the following week (from 5th May)

Still time to book! Join us on the 10th May

Don’t forget to sign up for Trinity Away day on Saturday 10th May. It will be an exciting day of teaching, great worship and fun activities for all. In the afternoon there will be different activities to choose from which will cater for all needs. The centre is fully accessible, but do get in touch with the office if you have any questions about this.

Weekly Prayer Points

Each week there will be a few things for our church life and church family that we can join in praying for:

1. Almighty God, we thank you for the gift of your word. May it be a lamp to our feet, a light to our paths, and strength to our lives. Take us and use us to love and serve all people in the power of the Holy Spirit and in the name of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

2. We pray this week for the persecuted church particularly in sub-Saharan Africa church which we heard about in our recent Gospel Partnership service. We ask that people here are treated with dignity and respect through protection, justice and healing and restoration to all affected communities.

3. Thank you for all the children we have in our church. We pray as we start our new term, and for those moving into new groups that they hear your word clearly through the teaching. We also praise and thank You for our children’s team who plan and teach the children each week.
