All Age Service - this Sunday

We hope that you have each had a good Christmas celebrating our Saviour!

This Sunday, as 2024 draws to a close, we look forward to the year ahead. Join us for an All Age Service at Kea at 10.30am.

There will be refreshments both before and after the service. The livestream will go live at 10.20am and prayer ministry will be available.

Hope Explored - three week course

In our recent sermon series we've been thinking about having confidence in God's powerful word and the assurance that we will find good soil. We plan to run a very engaging and well-presented course called 'Hope Explored' in January. Click the image above to watch a trailer

We have set aside the evenings of Thursday 16th, 23rd and 30th January, but we're keen to run the course relatively frequently so please do let us know if there is a need for it to repeat in a different time slot/format for anyone unable to make these sessions.

Parenting evening 4th Feb - ‘A mind of their own’

A Mind of Their Own is a 2-hour session that is made up of film clips and discussion questions. This session aims to provide parents with:

• A realisation that resilience can be learnt, and nurtured in the small, everyday moments of family life.

• Knowledge, confidence and practical ideas on how to help children process setbacks and bounce forward in strength, character and development.

• Insight into children’s brain development.

• An understanding that learning how to experience failure in a safe environment will improve their confidence and problem-solving skills.

• An appreciation of how vital your child’s identity is, and strategies to help them become confident in it.

Michael Tinker concert 28th Feb

Join Michael and the crew on a madcap adventure full of songs about Jesus! Captain Archibald is hunting through the ship for the mysterious IGASAT… will he find it? What is it? Does anyone else even care? An hour long, Bible-filled show for all the family.

Celebrating 10 years making music for children, Michael is touring a special show that will bring together all the favourite songs from the last decade! Along with his barmy crew, you’ll discover wonderful truths about Jesus in this song-filled, laughter-packed family extravaganza.

Michael J Tinker is a multi-faceted musician. He has recorded multiple folk and children’s albums and can currently be seen touring his 10th Anniversary Family Show. Michael is married to Jo and they have three children.

Kid's tea and refreshments from 4pm, the concert will start at 4.30pm.

Loving Lord, we thank You for sending Jesus into the world as a light in the darkness, a hope for the hopeless, and a gift of eternal love. As we look forward to new beginnings we pray that you would guide us in setting new goals, making positive changes, and pursuing Your will in our lives. May the joy of Christmas inspire us to embrace new opportunities with faith and courage.
