This Sunday - All age service

Join us this week for our special All Age Service which will both celebrate the coronation of King Charles but also conclude our series ‘Meet the King’. One of the most beautiful things about kings are the way they serve their subjects, this is the heart of Jesus’ rule. Jesus the King of Heaven came to serve us. So join us for our Coronation Celebrations as we meet our Servant King, it would be a great service to bring family and friends along to.

Refreshments will be served both before and after the service and a livestream will be broadcast.

Wallace Wanderings

Our Gospel Partners Richard and Riekje Wallace have been to Sierra Leone and they wanted to share a few thoughts about their preparation, travels and training they have been doing.

Andy Boorne’s Commissioning

It was great to see members of both Trinity congregations and parts of the wider Christian community in Truro gather together on Sunday in Kenwyn church to see Andy commissioned as their Local Minister by Marc as the Rural Dean. It was also good to see the links with those who God has used there in the past, as the service was led by Rev Bob Humphreys, and was attended by the previous vicar Chris Parsons, and even Julie the daughter of another previous vicar. Please pray for Kenwyn that God will continue to bless them with his Holy Spirit both in their individual lives and as a community as they reach out to their part of our wider Truro for His names’ sake.

Sea Shanty Evening - Mercy Rescue Trust

A huge thank you to all who contributed to the success of the Sea Shanty Evening. A wonderful amount of £4,005 was given, which will make a huge difference to the trust who have additional  expenditure due to caring for several babies needing ongoing medical treatment.

Eat Together Sunday - 21st May

Our next ‘Eat together Sunday’ will be on Sunday 21st May. It is a great time to fellowship together and meet new people in our church. A sign up sheet will be on the welcome desk at the back of church for the next two weeks for anyone who would like to either sign up to host or be hosted. As part of this we will host a Newcomers lunch.

Sunday 28th May - 10.30am - St Kea and Christ Church altogether service to celebrate Pentecost. This service will be held at St Kea Church.

Saturday 17th June - 12pm - 3pm - Kea School and Church Fete

Weekly Prayer Points

1. This week we give thanks for our Coronation services being held this weekend. We pray for Charles and Camilla as they continue a their life of public service and may we reflect on the life and calling of Jesus, the Servant King

2. We also give thanks for St Clements as they continue to reach out to their local community offering support to those in need of Jesus’ love.

3. Please pray for the work of the Wallace family as they return from Sierra Leon and make plans for their return later in the year. We thank God for their service in spreading the gospel to other communities and their support for Pastor Philip.
