This Sunday at St Kea - Wisdom in Work

Every week, in one way or another, everyone has work to do. But how should we think about work, our attitude and efforts? What does it look like to fear God in the nitty gritty, everyday situations? Proverbs has lots of useful wisdom for us and we’ll begin to unpack some of it on Sunday.

There will be refreshments before and after the service and a livestream. Sunday morning children’s and youth groups resume. Prayer ministry will also be available after the service.

Away Day 11th March - tickets on sale!

Tickets for the Away Day are now on sale. We will be hosting the first part of the day at Truro Senior School, TR1 1TH, and then after lunch we are planning to run a couple of activity options nearby to cater for various tastes. Further details about the day are on the booking page. Click the image above to find out more.

St Kea Fellowship evening - 22nd February

Since starting these Wednesday evening meetings of prayer & praise, it has been wonderful to see an increasing number of people coming to join us. Each time we have an informal time of fellowship, a time of sung worship, and updates from different areas of ministry and partner organisations to fuel our prayers. Once again we will try to provide some variety in how we pray to enable people to engage in different ways. Come at 7pm for cake and refreshments and we’ll start at 7.30pm.

Living in love and faith

As Marc mentioned on Sunday, following the General Synod meeting last week, we (Marc and Hugh) have written to our church family at St Kea and Christ Church. You can read the letter by clicking the link below. The letter also mentions the upcoming TDEF meeting (details below).

Weekly Prayer Points

This week’s prayer points:

1. We are so grateful for the work of Foodbank Truro in helping those in crisis need. Give thanks for all those from our church family who make this ministry possible. Pray for the film evening on the 21st March as the Foodbank team seek to raise funds for their work.

2. Give thanks for the life of the St Allen church family as they meet together week by week. Give thanks that they are part of the Trinity team and pray for them as they consider forming a Leadership Team for their church family.

3. Give thanks for our current teaching series on wisdom. As we explore biblical wisdom, pray that we might really learn what it is to live in that wisdom.
