New Summer Series Begins

‘Teamwork makes the dream work’

This Sunday we are really exciting to be launching our new Summer Series called ‘Elite Athlete Boot Camp’ 

This week we hear Paul assuring the Philippians that their spiritual state is proof of God's 'good work' in them, and that if God 'began a good work' in them, he 'will bring it to completion'.  So do join us to celebrate our brothers and sisters running the race with us, understanding the difference partnership makes to each and every one of us. 

Services will be all age and have interactive activities for everyone to enjoy. There will be refreshments served both at the beginning and end of the service. 

During the Summer there will not be a weekly live stream. As an alternative you can click on the link below which will take you to St Ebbs live stream which we hope you find useful.

Buildings & Maintenance Needs

Many of you will have heard on Sunday about the three urgent maintenance needs for the St Kea church building over the summer. These relate to the degradation of the floor in the main aisle, a broken boiler and failing lighting. In order to move on to being ready for any potential development projects we first need to address these. Work will commence as soon as possible but costs far exceed the predicted maintenance budget for 2024 so will eat into our reserves. We ask if you might consider pledging some money towards covering these costs? We will then be in touch to arrange collection of this funding. We are very grateful for the many people who already support our ministry.

Eco Church - July Update

At St Kea, we're working towards a Silver Eco Church award. We'll be sharing eco tips to help us all care better for God's wonderful creation.

Prayer Walk - 11th August

How do you like to pray? Sitting quietly, or on your knees maybe? How about on your feet? 

Can we challenge you to put on your trainers and come and join us on Sunday 11th August between 3pm and 5pm, to walk around Kea and Playing Place community to pray for those living there and all the activities that take place in this area? A creative way to bring the needs of this community before our Father in Heaven.

We have hired Playing Place Community Centre Lounge from 2.30pm and it is here we will start and finish the prayer walk. For those of you who don’t wish to walk there will be an opportunity to have a cup of tea and pray in the centre whilst the walk takes place.

Trelander Festival

Bookings are now open for the Trelander Festival on Saturday 31st August. We would love for you to come and join us for a day full of fun activities. Click on the picture above to book your place.

Minibus Driver needed... 

The Dockyard are in need of a driver for the minibus on the 15th & 29th August... We are taking some of the families we work with on a day trip to the bus. Many of them don't drive or have access to a car so we need to provide transport for them... The driver needs to be aged between 30-69 and have a clean license which has a D1 category on the back. If you are available on either or both of these days then please contact Sam on 07309689572. 

One Church Day

There is still time to sign up for our ‘One Church’ event happening on Saturday 7th September from 10am - 4pm. It is going to be wonderful time to join together with all of the Trinity Churches for a day of teaching, fellowship and fun. The theme for the day will focus on God’s great plan to unite us together in Jesus.

Weekly Prayer Points

Each week there will be a few things for our church life and church family that we can join in praying for:

1. Father God please help us run the race You have set before us with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

2. This week we pray for the work of Truro Foodbank. Give thanks for their Trustees and please pray for them as they undertake their duties and meet in July to make strategic decisions. Please also give thanks for their colleagues in the children’s clothes bank and for all the families they have been able to help. Please continue to pray that they will be able to find temporary premises before they need to leave All Saints at the end of July.

3. Sovereign Lord we lift St Johns Church in Truro to you. We pray for Rev Will Harwood and his family as they head to camp at the end of the week. We pray also for their upcoming holiday in August that it is a time of rest and family time.
