Gospel Partnership - The Gospel Need

This Sunday we continue our short series in Isaiah 66 and we are delighted that a Kea Mission Partner, Richard Wallace, is coming to preach and give us an update.

Our groups for children and young people resume. Refreshments will be served both before and after the service, a livestream will be offered and prayer ministry will be available.

Tonight - Trinity Church Fellowship evening

Once a term all of the congregations across Trinity are invited to gather together for updates, encouragements, prayer and singing. Drinks and puddings from 7pm, the meeting itself starts at 7.30pm. It will be a chance for the whole church to find out how the On the Way plans are progressing and to ask questions. We will be holding a short service of reflection and prayer towards the end of the evening and aim to be finished by 8.30pm.

Women’s Breakfast - This Saturday

This Saturday, 25th March 8:30am, is our next Women’s Breakfast. Do consider joining with women from across our Trinity churches for delicious food and time to enjoy each other’ company. Sign up using the link above or on the front page of the St Kea website.

Kea School - Workshops and Open the Book

Today and tomorrow Sam Payne and Hugh will be visting every class at Kea School to deliver a workshop explaining the message of Easter, please do pray for this wonderful opportunity. Then on the 28th March the Open the Book team will hand our Real Easter Eggs to all of the yr6 pupils. These eggs contain a booklet explaining the Easter story. As before we are asking St Kea Church family if they would like to donate towards this cost and we’d be very grateful for any donations on the link below.

Easter week at St Kea

There are plans for a range of events to help us reflect and celebrate this Easter. Some great opportuinites to invite others along as well. The first event after Palm Sunday is a Maundy Thursday Meal, during which we will think about the events of the Last Supper. We will sit round tables in the church and share a meal together before also having a chance to share communion. After that join us for an All Age Good Friday service at 10.30am, then the 2pm Good Friday Service of Reflection will lead into a prayer event that runs into Easter Saturday. On Easter Sunday morning there will be an 8.30am BCP Communion at Old Kea and a 10.30am All Age Communion service at St Kea church.

APCM - Electoral Roll Applications

Our APCM is to be held on Wednesday 26th April at 7.30pm. If you are part of St Kea and have not yet completed an Electoral Roll form it would be great if you could do so asap. Closing date for applications for this year is 2nd April. The form can be found on our website using the link below.

Praise & Worship Evening

On Friday 31st March we will be meeting together for a praise and worship evening. It will be an opportunity to spend an extended time worshipping as a church family. Come along from 7pm for a hot drink ready for a 7:30pm start, and we will bring the evening to a close by 9pm.

‘Word Alive’ livestream

Creation Care Whatsapp group

Catharine Handford writes: “As part of our ongoing commitment at St Kea to try to serve our planet and our community better we have started up a “Creation Care” WhatsApp group. Weekly Prayer Points

This week’s prayer points:

1. Give thanks for the links we enjoy with Kea School and please pray for the Easter workshops taking place at the school today and tomorrow.

2. Give thanks for the St Allen church family, and pray for them as they seek to reach out with the good news of the gospel over Easter.

3. Pray for Mercy Rescue Trust, a charity running a Baby Rescue Centre, Foster Care and Home based care in Kitale, Kenya. Please pray for their finanical needs as costs continue to increase and the country as a whole struggles with economic hardship.
