This Sunday - Carols Services

Join us for our All Age Carol Service on Sunday morning. A great service to invite friends and family along to. There will be no Sunday Groups this week. Refreshments will be served before and after the service and our livestream will also be broadcast.

This Sunday evening we have our Candlelit Carol Service at 6:30pm. Another great service to invite friends and family along to. Refreshments will be served after the service.

Christmas services -

A reminder of our services over the coming weeks. Please note that whilst 10.15am remains the time to arrive for refreshments on the 18th December (with a 10.30am start), on Christmas Day there are no refreshments and the service will actually start at 10.15am. Still plenty of time to extend our invitation to friends, family, colleagues and neighbours.

CAP Christmas Appeal and Lantern’s Christmas Party

Dear Church Family

I am writing to say an enormous thank you for your abundant generosity.Together with your donations and the kindness of others, we raised over £2500 plus hundreds of pounds of donated hampers.The Christmas party was a huge success - thanks be to God and of course  our wonderful team!

It was amazing to see so many guests, 4 people recommitted their lives to Jesus and others taking a step closer. Praise God for he heard our prayers and answered in so many wonderful ways.

Women’s Breakfasts 2023

We had a lovely time last Saturday at the last Women’s Breakfast of 2022. Please do pop the dates for our 2023 programme in your diaries. We are excited to be looking at Jesus through the eyes of the women who met Him.

Calendars for 2023 on sale

Hanna Oakes, a member of our church family, designs postcards/artwork to help people reflect on/treasure/share scripture under the name Oakshed. These are available to buy at the back of church and now include 2023 Calendars. Worth considering for Christmas presents!

St Kea Away Day 11th March 2023

Last July, many from St Kea All Hallows came on our Away Day. We started at Epiphany House with two talks from Vaughan Roberts on Ephesians 1 and 4 and then enjoyed some time on the north coast.

The St Kea leadership team (Heather Alford, Hugh Barne, Ben Goddard, Martin Handford, Lucy Larkin and Hanna Oakes) are proposing that we repeat this Away Day format in 2023 and we have chosen a date in March to avoid the busier summer months. We’d love some input and help in shaping this event so please do get in touch if you’d like to be on the planning team.

Weekly Prayer Points

This week’s prayer points:

1. Pray for all the Christmas services going on at the different churches of Trinity Truro. Pray that any visitors will feel welcomed and that God would open their hearts to the Gospel message.

2. Please pray for the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Pray that basic services will be able to function so those still living in war torn areas will have heat, food and water. Pray for an end to this war so rebuilding can begin in 2023.

3. Please pray for all our Gospel Partners. Pray that the coming year will bring new hope as they spread the wonderful news of Jesus to all they come into contact with.
