. . to be a church where we are always welcoming new people and we want to do all that we can to help you feel at home at Kea. We have three different communities that meet on Sunday: 09:30 Truro is a community gathered from across Truro which meets in Penair School; 11:00 All Hallows meets in Kea Parish Church and whilst having a focus on the parish in Playing Place, members come from all across the region; Old Kea is a smaller community meeting fortnightly in the historic church of Old Kea.
Right at the heart of each community are our relationships - our relationship with Jesus Christ and our relationships with each other. We are three communities on a mission to help one another to live for Jesus. We laugh and cry together, and support and encourage each other. These relationships are very important to us and so small groups are central at Kea. Small groups meet each week for us to help one another to live for Christ. Small groups spend time thinking about God’s word, praying for each other and sharing life together. We have groups for people at all sorts of stages, meeting in different locations and at different times.
Young people and children are also at the heart of our life together. At both 09:30 Truro and 11:00 All Hallows we have groups for all ages. Our young people also meet together through the week on Friday and Sunday nights, as well as in their own midweek small groups.
There are a large range of short courses and activities that take place throughout the year. Whether you are just asking questions about Jesus or looking for a church in which to become more actively involved, there is something for you.
You will find many details on this website but the best way to get to know us is to come along on a Sunday - you are assured of a warm welcome. We hold welcome lunches every couple of months and they are a great chance to hear about the life of our church and to get to meet other church members. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us through the form on the Contact Us page.
We look forward to meeting you,
Marc Baker, Vicar St Kea Church.
